Romans 13:1. On the heels of an election, we may not all feel the same about the results. Regardless, we know that at the very least we can say that the governmental positions of authority have been instituted by God. The US was born out of rebellion, so it’s hard for us at times, but there is something good for our souls when we submit to God’s created ordering of relationships. May we be people who pray for our leaders more than we complain about them.
